The 2nd Annual Green Gala: Midnight In The Garden

The Green Gala: Midnight In The Garden

The second annual Green Gala will once again feature 10 of Canada’s top fashion designers each creating 3 outfits made from sustainable fabrics, coming together in a memorable fashion show. Our first Gala was labeled the “Greenest Fashion Event in Canada”, and we will once again be taking great measures to reduce our eco-footprint and lay claim to this title with this year’s theme “Midnight In The Garden”.

From the cosmetics and hair care products used on models, to our printing process, food and beverages, décor elements, lighting and energy source, The Green Gala aims to inspire other event planners to lighten their footprint, while at the same time shining a spotlight on the potential that sustainable fabrics have to make evening wear and couture clothing.

The event will be bolstered by a silent auction, live performance by Tara MacLean, and will also feature media personalities and celebrities modeling the clothing on the catwalk! This year’s event will be hosted by MuchMusic VJ Hannah Simone.

Presenting Sponsor Samsung, committed to environmentally sustainable business practices, will be accepting old cell phones at the event. Recycling cell phones reduces greenhouse gas emissions, keeps valuable material out of landfills and incinerators, and conserves natural resources. Be sure to bring your old cell phone in for safe and environmentally friendly disposal.

Advance General Admission tickets are $75 – online sales is now closed.
